Claire Hosker
Claire is committed to SPIRIT’s Mission through personal experience of how our program makes changes in the lives of young people. She is active in outreach work spreading the word about SPIRIT in our community and is the leader of collaboration with public and private schools in the area. She is a parent of a former EAL student who is now a Riding Instructor. Upon her retirement as a Federal Architect, Claire has remained on our Board of Directors and continues to support our mission programs.
Over the last nine years plus, Claire has joined in most of our differing program activities. Claire has been and has remained active in fundraising supporting both her individual and other directors’ creative ideas for supporting SPIRIT’s programs. She was a founding member of our Fundraising and Events Committee. Claire has represented SPIRIT at community events, reached out to local businesses, and continued to liaison with schools to support student needs for community service hours. Claire has been active behind-the-scenes as well, designing and producing recognition plaques and annual awards for our students and others, and designing and creating our SPIRIT sign, as well as being a lead for coordination hospitality including finding speakers, and a number of other necessary Mission accomplishments.
